Prop Replicas (Video Games)

Continued from Page 2, but focusing on Video Game replicas.

Various Keyblades
"The key chain attached draws out the
Keyblade's true form and power."

Source: Kingdom Hearts
Purpose: The Keyblades are mysterious weapons from the Kingdom Hearts universe, capable of mass destruction in battle, and various other uses such as unlocking chests and locking a world's Keyhole.
Replica: There are several different sellers who sell replicas of the most popular keyblades, most of which are crude, inaccurate, and poorly made. There is one seller I found who makes and sells very accurate looking Kingdom Key replicas on Etsy. This seller also makes wall mounts for their keyblades, as well as accurate replicas of King Mickey's Keyblade, Wayward Wind, and Destiny's Embrace. As with most Etsy sellers, you could more than likely request a specific product from them if you'd rather have a different keyblade.

Jawless Skull / Red Partyhat (Hat on Skull)
"Light a match... Party!!!"
Source: Halo / Runescape
Purpose: The Halo skulls were campaign collectibles and later counted for achievements. RS Partyhats are considered a symbol of wealth and are the most expensive items in the game.
Replica: There are many people who make replicas of human skulls, while anyone could simply make a phat out of construction paper. Would fit even more nicely if the skull had the Grunt Birthday Party candle on the forehead.

Book of the Dragonborn
"The World-Eater wakes, and the
Wheel turns upon the Last Dragonborn.
Source: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Purpose: A readable book in the game Skyrim that focuses on the Dragonborn. No real purpose but it is the main cover of not only the book but also the game itself, as well as its merchandise.
Replica: There are many fan-made books on sites like etsy and deviantart but there is the Skyrim Artbook that came with the limited edition of Skyrim, which is pictured. It can be purchased by different sellers on Ebay.

Kanto Gym Badges
"Did you buy those badges or steal them?
Either that or you competed in some loser gyms."
"What do you mean loser gyms?" - Misty
"Hey Ash, pulverize this guy!" - Brock
Source: Pokemon
Purpose: Gym Badges not only boosted your stats but also let you progress through the game and is your ticket into the Pokemon League.
Replica: Lots of people make gym badges, Sanshee sells nice pin replicas, there is also a Etsy seller who not only makes badge replicas but also sells a display case for them. Both these sellers make badges from various generations.

Pokeball
"…You don't know how to catch a Pokémon?
I suppose I had better show you then!"
Source: Pokemon
Purpose: Pokeballs are used to capture and contain the creatures known as Pokemon in the franchise of which it is named.
Replica: There are various types of real versions of pokeballs with most of them being toys, however there is a accurate seller on Etsy who makes Pokeball replicas with options for sounds/lights and other effects.

Nuka-Cola
"Drink like there's no tomorrow!"
Source: Fallout
Purpose: Nuka-Cola was the most popular flavored soft drink before the Great War, and still remained after the apocalypse since a large number of them survived the bombs, although they are warm, irradiated, and flat.
Replica: It's up to you if you would rather buy one off the internet than make one yourself, since it would be very easy to make a replica. Just get a coke bottle and print out some custom labels and you've got yourself a Nuka-Cola. If not, then I'd suggest you look for one on good ole Etsy. You could also buy some Nuka-Cola caps while you're at it.

Vault-Tec Bobbleheads
"There's only one way to give 110%."
Source: Fallout
Purpose: The 20 bobbleheads in Fallout 3 were collectibles hidden in the Wasteland that increased your skill points and counted for achievements. They returned in Fallout 4.
Replica: Gaming Heads have been releasing series of Bobblehead replicas, for both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. And guess what, they actually bobble! (Trust me, I asked)

Cog Tag Necklace
"Remember the fallen"
Source: Gears of War
Purpose: The Cog Tag was a form of identification worn by Gears of the Coalition of Ordered Governments. Whenever a Gear had fallen in battle, the tags would be retrieved when possible. This was a way to keep track of the soldiers that were killed in action. They are main collectibles throughout the Gears games, and count for many achievements.
Replica: You can buy some more than decent ones from ThinkGeek.
